Hiraishin (飛雷神) is a Chrome extension for working with browser tabs and sending selected text, using a wheel, shortcuts and the right-click menu.
Applies to version 0.2.0 · Updated 2026-10-16
The extension contains no ads and sends no telemetry; usage counts are tallied only on your device. The only communication with a developer server (the license service) is for buying, activating and verifying a license, as described in the “License” row below; your browsing history, page URLs, titles, selected text and usage counts are never sent to it. Tab information and selections are processed on your device. When you choose “Fill” or “Send”, the selected text is written into the target website you configured. “Send” also tries to submit that website's input box.
| Data | Purpose and retention |
|---|---|
| Settings, target URLs and in-page shortcuts | Kept in the extension's local storage in your current Chrome profile until you change them, clear the extension's data or uninstall the extension. |
| Usage counts | Only the action identifiers, the cumulative number of runs from each entry point and the time counting started are kept, on your device only. Both successful and failed runs are counted; individual events, page URLs, titles and selected text are not recorded, and nothing is uploaded. You can clear the counts in Settings, and they are deleted when you uninstall the extension. |
| Tab IDs, titles, URLs and switching trail | Used to switch and arrange tabs and to locate targets. Up to 200 trail entries are kept per window, in session storage; the trail starts over when the browser restarts. |
| Text you choose and its source | Read only when you trigger a send or fill. Unfinished tasks are held in session storage for up to 30 minutes so you can retry or copy them; they are cleared on success and are not kept after the browser restarts. If the background worker is asleep, the scheduled cleanup may run slightly late. |
| Target input box and page state | Used to tell whether you are signed in, whether there is a draft, whether a reply is being generated, and whether filling and submitting succeeded. The extension never asks you for your account password and never overwrites an existing draft. |
| License | The trial start time is stored on your device. When you buy, the extension gets a random claim credential from the license service and passes a digest of it to Stripe with the payment, so that the license key can be collected after payment. Stripe handles payment, tax and receipts; the license service stores only a reference to that payment, the payment email address (used only for after-sales verification), and a digest and an encrypted copy of the license key. The license key and the license token issued by the service are stored on your device and synced to the Chrome account you are signed in to (chrome.storage.sync), so they can be restored after reinstalling or on another computer. On activation and about once a day afterwards, the extension sends the license token to the license service to confirm it is still valid; these requests contain no browsing data. |
| Keyboard and mouse events | Used only to recognize the in-page shortcuts and wheel gestures you set up; keystrokes are not stored. The in-page wheel does not trigger inside input fields. |
| Feedback | Only when you open “Request a feature” and submit the form there yourself. The link carries only the product, version and interface language. 44san's feedback service (koe.44san.com, hosted on Cloudflare) stores what you write, the optional reply email address and the country Cloudflare determines for the request; it does not store IP addresses. New feedback is forwarded to the developer by email and Feishu. Feedback is kept until it is deleted; to have yours deleted, contact the developer. |
Text goes directly to the ChatGPT, Claude or custom website you choose; the developer does not receive it. How a third-party website stores and uses the text is governed by that website's privacy policy and your account settings. Custom websites are configured by you. Only send content you are willing to have that website process.
When the target already has a draft, you are not signed in, or the result of sending can't be confirmed, the extension tells you and, where applicable, keeps the pending selection for you to handle. To avoid sending twice, it does not automatically retry sending when a submission can't be confirmed.
You can turn off the in-page wheel, clear in-page shortcuts, clear pending selections or delete custom targets. Uninstalling the extension removes its local extension storage. Clearing records in the extension does not delete content already sent to third-party websites; manage that on those websites. The extension does not run in Incognito mode.
